Therapy, a New Way
Identity-focused therapy using IFS to have a healthier relationship with yourself and others!
Identity work that meets you where you are—and guides you into who you're becoming.
You’ve spent years doing what was expected.
You’ve shown up strong, held it down for everyone else, and performed versions of yourself just to feel safe.
But behind the titles, achievements, and survival mode...
You feel disconnected from who you really are.
That’s not because you’re broken.
It’s because rejection taught you to perform, not BE
Rejection Recovery is here
You’ve done the work.
Therapy. Boundaries. Emotional skills. You’ve learned how to self-regulate and say “no” without crumbling.
But still...
You feel the flinch when someone’s disappointed.
The guilt after choosing yourself.
The quiet question: “Is it safe to be fully me?”
This isn’t about starting over.
It’s about healing the parts of you that still believe love has to be earned.
This is where individual focused therapy makes the difference.
It’s for those who are done surviving—and is ready to feel free.
Not just in theory, but in mind, body and spirit
We don’t rush.
We go inward—gently, deeply, with intention.
Where This Work Leads You
Imagine living from a place where rejection no longer runs the show.
Where you trust your voice without second-guessing.
Where your worth isn’t up for negotiation—because it’s no longer tied to what you do for others.
You’re not shrinking.
You’re not overexplaining.
You’re not holding your breath waiting to be chosen.
Instead—
You’re grounded. Clear. Present.
You move through relationships with quiet confidence.
Boundaries feel natural, not forced.
You give from overflow, not fear.
Your care doesn’t disappear—it deepens.
What once felt like a performance becomes a true offering—one rooted in identity, not approval.
This is what it feels like to come home to yourself.
And it’s not just possible—it’s waiting.
Recognizing you need more structure or space isn’t hesitation—it’s wisdom.
IFS intensives can offer breakthroughs. But when your system needs to move slower—when protectors are still on alert, or the shift hasn’t settled into your real life—ongoing therapy gives you room to breathe.
This isn’t about starting over.
It’s about anchoring what you already know—
into how you live, relate, and show up every day.
This Is Your Exhale Space.
No code-switching. No pretending. No pressure to be “fine.”
Just you—honest, seen, and supported.
You’ve done the surviving.
Now let’s do the becoming.
My Approach to Therapy
Going Beyond Coping: Transformative Healing Through Internal Family Systems
I specialize in providing deeply transformative therapy using the Internal Family Systems (IFS) approach. Unlike traditional talk therapy that focuses primarily on coping strategies, my work helps you move beyond simply managing emotions to truly healing the root causes of your challenges.
What Makes My Approach Different
When we work together, you'll experience therapy that is:
Depth-Oriented - While many therapists provide valuable support for navigating life transitions and building coping skills, my approach takes you deeper to address unfinished emotional business and transform internal patterns that no longer serve you.
Experiential - Our sessions go beyond just talking about your feelings. Through IFS, you'll engage in guided internal exploration that helps you connect with different parts of yourself in a profound, healing way. This creates lasting change rather than temporary relief.
Gentle But Direct - I balance compassionate understanding with helpful directness. When needed, I'll gently challenge you while maintaining a supportive, non-judgmental environment where all of your emotions and experiences are welcomed.
The IFS Difference
Internal Family Systems therapy recognizes that we all have different "parts" within us - like the critical voice, the pleaser, the achiever, or the part that carries our sadness or anger. These parts developed to protect us, but sometimes they operate in ways that no longer help us thrive.
Through our work together, you'll:
Identify and understand the different parts of your internal system
Build relationships with protective parts that may be keeping you stuck in patterns of anxiety, people-pleasing, or emotional numbness
Access your core Self - the compassionate, curious center of who you are
Heal wounded parts carrying burdens from past experiences
Transform how you relate to yourself and others from a place of self-leadership
Who I Work With
My approach is particularly effective for those who:
Have tried therapy before but feel something deeper was missing
Can identify their emotions but want to do more than just manage them
Feel stuck in patterns with family relationships or personal growth
Are navigating major life transitions
Want to understand themselves on a deeper level
Are ready to move beyond intellectual understanding to emotional healing
What to Expect
Our work typically begins with mapping your internal system—understanding the different parts that make up your emotional world. As we build a foundation of safety and trust, we'll help your protective parts relax enough to allow access to deeper healing.
Rather than just teaching you to cope with difficult emotions, we'll work together to heal the sources of those emotions, leading to lasting transformation and growth.
I offer both weekly and biweekly sessions and am committed to creating a therapeutic experience that truly meets your needs. My goal isn't just to help you survive challenges, but to support you in thriving and living from your authentic Self.
Ready to begin?
If you're looking for therapy that goes beyond the surface and creates meaningful, lasting change, I invite you to schedule a consultation to see if we're a good fit for working together.

FAQs about Individual Therapy
-
Most traditional therapy sessions are 50 minutes long. That’s just enough time to check in, name what’s coming up, and maybe touch the edges of deeper work—but often not enough to fully unpack or shift what’s driving the pattern.
In a 90-minute session, we slow down.
There’s space for your nervous system to feel safe, for your parts to come forward, and for your insight to actually land. You’re not rushed to "wrap it up" right when things start to get real. Why it matters:
We can go deeper into core patterns instead of circling surface emotions
More time to build trust and safety with your system (especially with IFS work)
You leave feeling grounded, not emotionally cut off
Progress feels more integrated—less stop/start, more momentum
If you’ve ever left therapy feeling like “we just got started,” a 90-minute session gives your healing the space it’s been asking for.
It’s not “just mindset.” It’s not talk therapy.
It’s deep identity healing that brings your true self back to the surface. -

Using insurance for therapy involves several important considerations:
A mental health diagnosis is required and becomes part of your medical record
Insurance companies may audit your records
Records may be accessed for disability claims or future insurance coverage
Insurance becomes a third party in your therapeutic relationship
**There are times when insurance can reject, deny, or claw back payments at anytime. In this event, you will be responsible for the cost of all services rendered.
Please call your insurance carrier to understand your MENTAL HEALTH COVERAGE
Any deductibles.
If mental health is even covered and you do not have a separate carrier for this medical service. Some people have a secondary carrier specific for mental health.**
This is essential to ensure there are no billing inaccuracies, and you will not be responsible for the full cost of any services rendered at any time.

Therapy is a time that you set aside to work on problem areas in your life. It is a space where you can feel seen and heard as you develop a therapeutic relationship of trust and safety with your Therapist. The Therapist will facilitate the healing process by providing tools, skills and activities that help get to the root of the symptoms that are causing distress. You will work alongside your therapist to create attainable goals and be in control of your process.

Sometimes, our reactions and responses to life circumstances require medication even if for a short time. If you believe that this is something you may need, a referral will be made to a Psychiatrist or Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for a full evaluation and possible prescribing of medication. We have many resources to guide you in the right direction in this area. I partner with nurse practitioners that can prescribe medication and provide medication management. These providers are people that I trust and know personally, and you will be supported through the entire process.
