Therapy, a New Way

Go beyond coping—heal the patterns beneath the surface and build a healthier relationship with yourself.

When you’ve lost touch with yourself

You've spent years doing what was expected.

Showing up strong.
Taking care of everyone else.
Meeting expectations.
Adapting to the roles you've been given.

But somewhere along the way, you stopped checking in with yourself.

Now you find yourself questioning your decisions, struggling to know what you want, or feeling disconnected from the person underneath all the responsibilities.

You're not broken.

You've simply learned how to survive, adapt, and keep going.

Together, we’ll make space to slow down, understand the patterns that shaped you, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have been overlooked, silenced, or set aside along the way.

You’ve Done the Work. So why are you still stuck?

You've learned the coping skills.
You've set the boundaries.
You've gained insight into your patterns and relationships.

But still...

You second-guess yourself.
You know what you want, but struggle to trust it.
You find yourself slipping back into old roles, habits, and expectations.

Part of you knows something has changed.

Another part isn't quite living from that place yet.

Where This Work Leads You

Imagine living from a place where rejection no longer runs the show.
Where you trust your voice without second-guessing.
Where your worth isn’t up for negotiation—because it’s no longer tied to what you do for others.

You’re not shrinking.
You’re not overexplaining.
You’re not holding your breath waiting to be chosen.

Instead—
You’re grounded. Clear. Present.
You move through relationships with quiet confidence.
Boundaries feel natural, not forced.
You give from overflow, not fear.

Your care doesn’t disappear—it deepens.
What once felt like a performance becomes a true offering—one rooted in identity, not approval.

This is what it feels like to come home to yourself.
And it’s not just possible—it’s waiting.

Sometimes the breakthrough isn't the hardest part—it's what comes next.

Understanding your patterns is one thing. Learning how to trust yourself, respond differently, and build a life that reflects who you are is another. Ongoing therapy offers the support, accountability, and space needed to turn insight into lasting transformation.

This Is Your Exhale Space.

No code-switching. No pretending. No pressure to be “fine.”
Just you—honest, seen, and supported.

You’ve done the surviving.
Now let’s do the becoming.

My Approach to Therapy

Going Beyond Coping: Transformative Healing Through Internal Family Systems

I specialize in providing deeply transformative therapy using the Internal Family Systems (IFS) approach. Unlike traditional talk therapy that focuses primarily on coping strategies, my work helps you move beyond simply managing emotions to truly healing the root causes of your challenges.

What Makes My Approach Different

When we work together, you'll experience therapy that is:

Depth-Oriented - While many therapists provide valuable support for navigating life transitions and building coping skills, my approach takes you deeper to address unfinished emotional business and transform internal patterns that no longer serve you.

Experiential - Our sessions go beyond just talking about your feelings. Through IFS, you'll engage in guided internal exploration that helps you connect with different parts of yourself in a profound, healing way. This creates lasting change rather than temporary relief.

Gentle But Direct - I balance compassionate understanding with helpful directness. When needed, I'll gently challenge you while maintaining a supportive, non-judgmental environment where all of your emotions and experiences are welcomed.

The IFS Difference

Internal Family Systems therapy recognizes that we all have different "parts" within us - like the critical voice, the pleaser, the achiever, or the part that carries our sadness or anger. These parts developed to protect us, but sometimes they operate in ways that no longer help us thrive.

Through our work together, you'll:

  • Identify and understand the different parts of your internal system

  • Build relationships with protective parts that may be keeping you stuck in patterns of anxiety, people-pleasing, or emotional numbness

  • Access your core Self - the compassionate, curious center of who you are

  • Heal wounded parts carrying burdens from past experiences

  • Transform how you relate to yourself and others from a place of self-leadership

Who I Work With

My approach is particularly effective for those who:

  • Have tried therapy before but feel something deeper was missing

  • Can identify their emotions but want to do more than just manage them

  • Feel stuck in patterns with family relationships or personal growth

  • Are navigating major life transitions

  • Want to understand themselves on a deeper level

  • Are ready to move beyond intellectual understanding to emotional healing

What to Expect

Our work typically begins with mapping your internal system—understanding the different parts that make up your emotional world. As we build a foundation of safety and trust, we'll help your protective parts relax enough to allow access to deeper healing.

Rather than just teaching you to cope with difficult emotions, we'll work together to heal the sources of those emotions, leading to lasting transformation and growth.

I offer both weekly and biweekly sessions and am committed to creating a therapeutic experience that truly meets your needs. My goal isn't just to help you survive challenges, but to support you in thriving and living from your authentic Self.

Please note: If you choose to use health insurance to pay for therapy, insurance requires that services be medically necessary to diagnose and treat a mental health condition. This means a mental health diagnosis is required for all insurance claims. Treatment recommendations, including the frequency of sessions, are based on clinical assessment and medical necessity. For many clients, weekly therapy is recommended and may be necessary to effectively address symptoms, support progress toward treatment goals, and meet insurance documentation requirements. If sessions become less frequent than clinically recommended, treatment effectiveness may be impacted, and in some cases insurance may determine that continued coverage is no longer medically necessary.
